Community Proposals

Snowball is democratically governed by the community through its governance protocol. To vote, you must lock SNOB for xSNOB. One xSNOB equals one vote.

Anyone with xSNOB tokens can vote on Snowball proposals. For a proposal to pass, there must be a minimum of 300,000 in favor votes and there must be more in favor votes than against votes. After voting you can change your vote.

To create a proposal, you must hold a minimum of 100,000 xSNOB. If you do not have the required minimum, you may find someone who does and they can execute the proposal on your behalf. Proposers can only have one active proposal at a time.

Each proposal must have a voting period equal to at least 72 hours. Once voting ends, there is an execution delay of 24 hours for any technical changes to the Snowball protocol.

Each proposal also has an execution window of 14 days, after which, the proposal is considered void.
